Our Business

The Three Mountains Cocoa business model prioritises farmers' welfare, the environment, and the communities we serve. As a premium organic cocoa brand, we combine a socially responsible business model with high-quality natural ingredients to showcase our commitment to sustainable farming and environmental stewardship.

By working directly with farmers and creating environmentally and socially sustainable supply chains, we maintain a high level of transparency from farm to export. Through our business practices, we invest in local projects, contribute to food security, and support the development of rural areas by providing opportunities for young people. At Three Mountains Cocoa, our business model is anchored in our dedication to fostering a sustainable, transparent, and thriving cocoa industry for future generations. Three Mountains Cocoa offers premium organic cocoa from Ghana's Eastern region. Our organic cocoa is available in blended containers as well as microlots, directly from the port of Tema in Ghana, or from our distributors in Europe and the US. We specialise in sustainable farming practices that are good for people and good for the planet.

Legal and Compliance

We comply with all laws and regulations in the countries in which we operate in, including those pertaining to bribery, corruption, or any type of fraudulent practice. We expect the same from all our partners, buyers and customers.

Supply Chain

Provide high level of traceability and knowledge of the origin we source and supply from. Our supply chain is fully traceable and sustainable. Through our organic training the communities we operate in have improved and enhance agricultural training. The farmers and the people are paramount in our operation of our business We strictly manage our due diligence procedures whilst adhering to and exceeding all relevant legal standards. We expect al our partners and suppliers to adhere to the same standard.

Our People

At Three Mountains Cocoa, we all work to cultivate a brighter future. We deeply value the farmers who grow our cocoa. We support them fully as they strive to improve their lives and uphold sustainability principles.

We do our best to create a safe and just working environment that promotes diversity, inclusivity, and equality. Through initiatives such as Fairtrade certification, our goal is to increase incomes for farmers and provide them with improved opportunities. We are particularly focused on empowering women in cocoa farming and preserving the cultural heritage of our communities. We address child labour by investing in education and promoting awareness about the dangers of exposing children to harmful farming equipment and pesticides.

Under no circumstances employ individuals under the age of 15 (or 14 years of age where local law allows and such exception is consistent with ILO Convention No. 138 & 182) or under the legal minimum age for employment in the country, whichever is greatest. Environment

Environmental conservation is a core value at Three Mountains Cocoa, We recognise the importance of protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices throughout our operations. We embrace regenerative agriculture, which restores ecosystems, generates efficient water and carbon cycles, and contributes to a world of plentiful, healthy food production and flourishing communities.

Three Mountains Cocoa is committed to environmental protection and minimising negative impacts throughout its operations, while complying with Ghana’s environmental legislation. We work closely with farmers to implement environmentally sound farming methods, respect biodiversity, and protect fragile ecosystems. Make all possible efforts to include small and diverse suppliers (minority-owned, women-owned, veteran- owned, disabled-owned, disadvantaged or HUB-certified businesses) in our supplier chain Strive to reduce environmental impact through efficient use of resources and environmentally friendly technologies, as well as efforts such as ending deforestation, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and waste, and using resources efficiently

Health and Safety

We Provide a safe and healthy work environment in all of their operations. Protect employees from exposure to hazardous materials by ensuring personal protective equipment is available to the employees. Train employees on the appropriate occupational health & safety policies and procedures in the primary language of the employees.

We comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding wages, hours, benefits and binding agreements, including overtime, overtime pay and other pay arrangements. Maintain a transparent and reliable system for recording working hours and wages for all employees in accordance with local and national laws or regulations.
