These farmers are well-informed about the data recorded on their land and are aware of national and international issues affecting their industry. However, their primary focus remains on farm work and family sustenance, leaving them less engaged with broader informational resources.

To address this gap, Three Mountains Cocoa has developed initiatives that empower farmers, leveraging their knowledge of the land and the data at hand to enhancing their ability to benefit from certification systems.
Cocobod has led an innovative mapping projects in the past, achieving significant milestones by creating detailed polygon maps for cocoa farmers. Building on this foundation, Three Mountains Cocoa has advanced the initiative by aligning with Organic and Rainforest data standards, developing state-of-the-art polygon maps and centerpin drop tools that better equip farmers to leverage their knowledge of the land and their data for certification benefits.
